I’m Eason. Thanks for stopping by.

To celebrate the upcoming release of my short story collection, Eidolon: 8 Tales of the Future, I’m giving away one of the stories for free. It’s a try before you buy sort of situation.

“Fresh as the First Beam” is a quiet, introspective tale set aboard a generation starship — a conversation between two men over dinner that slowly becomes something else entirely. Think My Dinner with Andre meets Black Mirror.

If you like speculative fiction with literary leanings and sharp edges, I think you’ll enjoy it.
